L’Università di Roma Tor Vergata con la sua Governance si impegna a promuovere il riconoscimento e il rispetto dei diritti e delle libertà individuali, nonché l’accettazione di doveri e di responsabilità etico-sociali nei confronti dell’Ateneo; a tutelare i rapporti interni tra i componenti della comunità universitaria e le relazioni con gli interlocutori esterni, favorendo i comportamenti virtuosi e prevenendo condotte eticamente non corrette o illecite, anche grazie alla segnalazione di eventuali violazioni e/o irregolarità attraverso la pratica di “whistleblowing”; a prevenire la corruzione attraverso la condivisione di principi e di valori ai quali deve ispirarsi l’azione dell’Ateneo e dei suoi operatori.
